I just wanted to check in with everyone. I haven't been here in awhile. Things have been so crazy at home. No my anxiety has not gotten better, we are just trying to figure what to do with our lives. We moved to Northern California and we hate it. We want to move back down south. Just a lot to deal with. How is everyone else doing?!

I wish that things were better for you! Perhaps you guys can make a short and long term goal/wish list for things to help you get back to where you want to be...figurtively and literally!

Things here have been good...busy...but lots of support as always!

Bummer, JF! How long have you been there? Maybe you need more time to adjust? Was this for work? Sorry to hear your anxiety isn't better. We're still here when you need us!

Thanks everyone:) im from Sacramento so I knew what I was getting into. He hates it. And I don't like it as much as I use to. It's not the same as it was to me 15 years ago when I left. So it's a struggle.

Yeah...it is changing around here...so much traffic and congestion...

I hope you guys can find a way to adjust and make it a happier move for you!

This valley has gotten so bad. I miss the times when worry and fear were not so common. I hope that you all can either move back south or adjust soon so you can find peace and rest in the valley. Stay well.

Welcome back to the forum good to hear from you.

Sorry to hear your anxiety is still causing you problems moves can be stressful and it can take some time to adjust to your new environment.

Do you have support in your new area? Such as a good doctor? Therapist?

I hope you start to feel better soon we are here to support you.

SC our furniture store is in Antioch so if we move it would be there. Ugh and I don't like it there at all. The drive is to much for him and our store down south is suffering. He says it doesn't feel like home up here and I get it. But his crappy attitude when he comes home everyday saying he hates his life and he's miserable isn't helping. The big baby.

Practically neighbors!!

I am sorry you guys aren't happy here though...I get it...the idea of moving makes me pretty anxious, and you need to feel comfortable and at home where you reside.

Writing down you short and long term plan and goals may make it easier to deal with staying in a place you are not crazy about for a short duration...

...if you know that you can eventually make plans to get back to where you want to be!

Until then, maybe making some time to invest in activities that you do enjoy in the area...beach time, hiking the Redwoods ect...could make things more tolerable for the time being.:)

Hey Jf!

If it's warmer in the south, I'd say get there! Ok, so completely joking there... but it's cold here, so warm weather is about all I can think about......

Sorry about your hubby not feeling like home....or happy... :( What a bummer! I think SC had some great advice in long-term and short-term goals! I'm actually going to STEAL that idea, because really....I'd like to dream up some goals to move toward!
