Hi all
I've been gone for awhile as I seemed to get better with my anxiety, but lately I have been getting my old symptoms back, with the chest Niggles and left arm pain,
I'm just wondering if my body can get used to the tablets I'm on and stop them from working?
I am on citalopram 20mg

Welcome Back Colin, Yes our bodies can get use to medication and we can build a tolerence, but it usually happens after years on the same medication. How long have you been on the citalopram? Talking to your doctor would be the next step, maybe you need an adjustment of a higher dosage.

Glad to hear things had improved for you! This is good news...and gives hope that you can get back to that place of feeling well again!

With some adjustments such as a med evaluation and adding in more coping skills, you should expect a positive change.

Talking with your doctor about possibly upping your dose of Rx...you are at a level where you could certainly increase...

...and increasing/picking up new, or reinstating your anxiety management tools/therapy skills will surely help.:)

I've been on the meds for about 1 year now, and only just in the past couple of days have I been feeling it!

It's weird I have no worrys anymore, I've found myself I beautiful girlfriend and life could not be any better right now, so it has just threw me a little that it has come back so quick!

I'll be sure to talk to my doctor when I can next get in, and I'll keep you all im touch with how I go on!

Sometimes tablets reach a plateau and you need to increase!
Congratulations on your girlfriend, and good to hear that despite this minor setback you've been doing well!
