Wow CBH...
You have already been through so much, no doubt. I can't imagine how strong you have had to be with the recovery you already went through at the time of your accident/incident.
However, if this is ultimately going to bring you new levels of mobility, or less pain...
...you are making the right choice...and I applaud you for your bravery!
It is a normal reaction to be feeling the way that you are. Anyone would!
Having a game plan in action will both give you relief during your rehad time...and keep your mind occupied for the time leading up to your surgery.
What are some things that you can plan to do while you are recovering?
Is there a new skill, language, hobby, craft, art that you have always wanted to try?
How about starting a blog of your journey...to inspire others?
What are your talents and interests...and how can you put them to use with your down time?
One thing for sure....we will be here! :)
You can count on us to cheer you on!
We will remind you to use your coping skills...and keep you company when needed.
Keep us updated on how you are feeling, and the upcoming shedule okay?
With much admiration for doing this!
