UGH!

In a bad state right now. Went to the doctor today because of some pain I've been having in my legs mostly when I walk. I thought maybe from the yoga I had been doing I might have pulled something. I also mentioned the fact that my toes have been turning bright red when walking.

She did another EKG to check my heart which came back perfect. My blood pressure was 102/70 which she didn't seem concerned about. She took some blood to check my levels and my iron. She also wants me to have an ankle brachial index test done as she thinks it might be related to the arteries in my legs.

This has really got me scared. I called to schedule the test after I left her office, I'm just waiting for a call back. Now I'm worried there's something wrong with my legs. I'll be glad to get this test done and get the results back.

Thanks SC. That's what she told me as well. She wanted to be sure to rule out other things before she chalked it up to anxiety. I'll keep everyone posted.

...oh and did she rule out sciatica, or other nerve compression issue?

I would think they could presently similarly to your symptoms?

Quick update. My test is scheduled for June 10th. My doctor called me and told me all my bloodwork came back perfect, which is a bit of a relief. She said that she may try the hospital and see about getting me an earlier appointment for the test. Oddly my legs haven't hurt as bad today and I've been doing a lot of walking.

Yep! I'd say that a good CBC is indicative that your brachial index is going to be fine as well!
