Brintellix for Panic disorder/GAD

I thought we had a member who was taking this Rx...but she has not responded to yours, or the other thread on Brintellex...so sorry...we are not of much help here it seems.:(

Like I suggested to the sylkenmist... (the op of the other thread), did you check in with the Depression Forum, as this med is usually prescribed for MDD.

You may have better luck there.

I was on Brintellix for a few months, I've heard great success stories from people on it, my Psychiatrist has other patients that are on it and do amazing, unfortunately I was not one of these people.

As we all know we all respond different to medications, what works for me may not work for you, and vice versa, really the only thing we can do is try the medication and hope it works.

I am currently on it now, started on 4/9/15 @5mg then upped to 10mg on 4/16/15. I did see some sudle benefits but nothing great. Talked to my pdoc on 5/19/15 and told him I was still having breakthrough panic attacks and anxiety and he upped me agin to 15mg and that's what I'm on now. I'm still not sure it's the right med for me, but I'm gonna give it a few more weeks.
