Good job on reaching out here rather than doing a symptom search!
Chances are that this is simply paresthesia...tingling of the skin (common on the face and extremities) caused by hyperventilating.
Even just rapid shallow breathing (anxious breathing pattern) will bring on the symptoms of hyperventilation.
Doing some slow deep breathing should reverse this fairly quickly.:) (find breathing exercise links in the Resources if you need help.)
