Also sorry to hear of the anxiety you are dealing with, along with the physical symptoms it brings on.:( Know that you are not alone, and that there is help and hope!
Finding the right treatment is key. Going to your doctor was a good firtst step. Unfortunately, your Rx did not agree with you...and this is not unusual. Many people have to try a few before finding the right fit....and A/D's can make symptoms worse initially, until therapeutic benefits kick in.
If you would rather not try another medication, then yes, as you and Rei mentioned...therapy is key. Ask your doctor about
a referral and get going to sessions as soon as possible.
I can't begin to tell you the difference it made for me.;) Learning the skills to manage your anxiety is a must for feeling your best.
