Hi Daxter.....not to scare you but incase you haven't had an inhaler before I wanted to warn you.
The medicine in the inhaler tends to increase anxiety. It made me very jittery and nervous. I believe this is listed amongst it's side effects. So take it easy with it and only use it when absolutely needed as it will
definatly add to your anxiety. Sorry for the bad news but I thought you should be warned.
For me, the inhaler was not worth it. it made me so anxiouse there was no benefit of it for me.
I hope it does help you though but do realize it can do this.
Was this bad that I said this? I don't want it to cause you more problem but really wanted you to know they can do this to you.
Feel better
linda
I think I've been ok sp far with the inhaler, Ventolin. It made my chest tighten up, which is weird, because normally I don't get that symptom. I think it caused me insomnia, which is bad - I hardly sleep well already..!
I'm not sure if asthma attacks can just stop, just like that, if you change your posture? Or if the same can be said about
anxietu, or if the latter can constrict upper airways?
I'm not so sure it's anxiety/hypeventilation - no rapid heart rate, tightness, sweating, dizziness.
