My Doc just prescribe it for me 10mg 3x day,I am scared it will go against me like the lexapro did so I only took a half.

i have used it for years. its a mild drug and easy to take. its the one of the safest anti anxiety drugs there is. no need to fear. the main draw back is it isnt strong enough for major anxiety. also it may not work for some people. lucky it works wonders for me . its also non addicting. a huge plus. i couldnt handle lexapro either.

Thanks Dan I'm going to give it some time. I'm just afraid it will make my panic attacks worse like the Lexapro did.

Buspar is in a different med family from Lexapro...it is not an SSRI, so you may have a much better time with it.:)

I've been on buspar twice now. It is a super mild anxiety med. I do agree with Dan, it usually does not work on high anxiety though. Side effects are extremely mild too. Good luck!!
