I know how you're feeling, I've felt that very same way many times. Work with your therapist and do the things they suggest. If you can't focus enough to do mindful meditation work on your breathing. 6 Breaths in, hold for 4 seconds, 8 breaths out. My therapist suggested I breath in through my nose and exhale through my mouth. Thinking about the breath in being calm and relaxation and the breath out being the anxiety and worry.
