I'm told my neck muscles are very tight and that's what causing the tingle in my head . But my neck does NOT hurt . Anyone with similar experience? ?

You don't have neck pain ? Do you experience the head tingle?

Hi
I do have neck pain which is made worse by muscle tightness.
I also get a lot of headaches which I think is caused by my neck pain but anxiety can also cause headaches.

I just came back from a back and neck massage. I've always had stiff shoulders and neck. You won't necessarily experience 'pain' when your muscles are tight. However, when my massage therapist gives me a massage I get tingling pain and weird sensations in my neck. It's from all the tension being released I believe. I do not get tingles in my head though.

And that's what scares me and makes me think this is something deadly. I cannot find anything where u have no pain . And melodee you don't feel any head tingles . The only thing that hurts is my shoulder and back just below my neck only when I move a certain way

Who told you your neck muscles are the reason you get that tingle? Your doctor?
Can you get a MRI done on your neck and shoulders?
It can be anything. I would definitely get it checked by an orthopedist.

When we're anxious, muscles tense often without our awareness (initially, at least).
As for muscle relaxants, I can only say valium works quite well as I've never used the other one.
