I think it has gone quite well. In addition to figuring out the right dose of my medicine and weaning off the diazepam to a more acceptable level, I think I've come quite far in terms of anxiety being reduced. I haven't been around much recently as I feel like I was reading too much about anxiety and its various symptoms (not just here, but books and another forum I visit).
So I tried to live as close as possible to how I would before I started getting panic attacks, which essentially was only reading and doing stuff not related in any way to anxiety.
Congratulations on getting to this point.
I understand the feeling of needing to stay clear of some things as you can fall into the trap of spending so much time reading about
and dealing with anxiety that in itself creates a problem. You get stuck in a rut of anxiety being the centre of everything. I strive to reach the point you're at now and get my life back on track. Care to share how you succeeded on successfully getting to this point with someone who's struggling with this? Any handy tips?
Sending good wishes and the hope you remain as anxiety free as you possibly can and enjoy the life you wish to lead.
