I have heard many times that weather can cause pain in our body...especially joints. Well it's been mostly cloudy and rainy the past week and every morning I wake up with pain in my body. I can't point out where but I just have this sore muscle type of pain in my body. Have any of you experienced pain during bad weather and not when it is sunny outside? On sunny days I am fine.

I have heard of this...old injuries can be especially affected...but I think any joints/soft tissue can as well...
Take it easy with your workouts...get a really good warm up, and go gently but consistently...
Hope you get some relief soon.:)

SC,
Thank you for the reply. I haven't done any workouts for over a week. :(
That's why I was a bit worried about
this pain. Although I haven't done any workouts...I have been doing presentations at work every week! Yes, I am exhausted afterwards. Could it be that this pain is caused by the stress at work?

Yep for sure, most people with fibromyalgia complain about
this all the time. With me, my knees hurt really bad right before a snow storm, I can tell if it is going to snow within a week everytime. Thankfully it doesn't snow here often.

Thank you AngelLisa,
I've heard that people with arthritis get flare ups before bad weather too. I've had back pain for a while and it does worsen before a storm. This time though, it seems to be all over my body...more in my muscles.

I've found that I'm really sensitive to cold. It causes forearm pain. I wear fuzzy coats every day of year. Sleep on mat in bathroom with space heater set on 85. Cut the ends out of socks and use for forearm warmers. My skin turns cold sensations into pain sensations. I know that the pain doesn't show real muscle damage, but it's distracting.

Hi
Yes weather can affect pain.
I have osteoarthritis in my spine and when it is cold damp weather my pain gets a lot worse but anxiety can also cause a lot of pain all over body.

Weather definitely effects our sensations-- especially pain! And now that you managed presentations at work, that could totally do it as well! Warm bath with Epsom salt should do the trick!

Thank you everyone for sharing your experiences. I found out that it was both the weather and fatigue & stress from work. I still have pain and went to get a massage and they told me my back was extremely stiff.

I broke my collarbone MANY years ago and I remember an occasion within the last couple of years in which it hurt more than it did when I had broken it. It's all so strange...
