Im 26 and feel like I am falling apart. All of these electrical zaps in my body (the chest is the scariest) I have frequent urination (but during testing I had no blood in my urine) . Developing neck pain, vibration (buzzing ) in my right ear ALL day. and some suspected piriformis or sciatic issues and Gerd. On top of that, I itch CONSTANTLY. Sometimes i have hive welts and sometimes I don't. I know this all cant be anxiety. Something is wrong here, I have no insurance though which is horrible because I can't be seen. I can feel perfectly fine one second and get this horrible shock in my left breast or sternum area (I am a male) that lasts for a few seconds and varies between minutes or hours when it happens again. Right now, I am so stuck I don not know what to do....the shocking in my leg doubled with all the other issues I have is too much. Also after checking my bp last night it was 136/60 the 145/79 30 minutes after... now I am afraid to eat.....

I am sorry you are currently feeling so unwell! ;(

Have you tried some coping skills to reduce your anxiety and relieve your symptoms? Meditation, breathing exercises...progressive muscle relaxation?

It is amazing how profound the physical symptoms of anxiety can be!

However, with commitment to using self-help, you can expect to feel better with time.

Do you need some suggestions/direct links?

You sound high on the scale of anxiety. Coping skills will do you alot of good. I get similar symptoms to yours and honestly, the chest pains for a few mins or seconds is not dangerous. Take a deep breath and calm down. Tell yourself you are okay, and most importantly, try to relax your mind. Don't keep thinking about the problems!

Hi there. I was uninsured for a lot of my 20's and now I have insurance but my deductible is very high so I have never been able to just go to the doctor & not worry about bills - I feel your pain. However, if you are really feeling ill & struggling, it might be best to go to a primary care doctor just to get a basic checkup. When you get the bill, you just make very small payments. That's what I've ALWAYS done. You'll feel better if you see a doctor/talk to someone. It might just be anxiety or you might have a skin issue that's easily treatable or maybe you need a mild blood pressure medication. Don't jump to the conclusion that it's anything very serious. We all makes things worse than they have to be because of our anxiety.
