Post menopausal question for the Ladies

Hi Ladies, this is of a delicate nature. Caution TMI. I am 2 years post menopause. For the last couple of weeks I've felt a bit crampy on my lower left side (brushed it off as constipation). This morning after being 'intimate' with my boyfriend I had light bleeding. Of course I'm now terrified thinking I have ovarian cancer. My gynie has told me that I have a atrophy vagina (yes TMI, so sorry!!). And I have read this can cause some bleeding, however I'm freaked out because I've been feeling crampy. I will be calling my gynie tomorrow for an appointment. In the interim I was just looking for a little reassurance.

It could be a fibroid. They are supposed to shrink or go away post meno but I had pelvic pain that turned out to be one. I had it removed.

Ah the joys, eh?

At first you think...puberty...first periods, the worst...

But nope, then it's pregancy/childbirth...this is the worst...

...but wait, there's more! Then it's peri (my current and fresh hell!)...and this is it...it has to be the worst!

Then menopause...and still the fun continues, LOL! ;p

I am sure it was just some coital irritation, or possibly a fibroid as the others mentioned.

Get a good lubricant for, the, um deed...

...and get guidance from your doctor...but I am sure everything is fine.:)

Yes Beth, I totally agree with others. That doesn't sound like anything serious. Probably an irritation or a minor issue.
You will def feel better after you see the gyn. No worries <3
