Hazel,
We are all born with something called "otoliths" in our ear. They are hard calcified crystal substances that are located in our vestibule system which is responsible for balance, equilibrium, etc. Doing stuff like spinning, going on rollercoasters, or anything in that category momentarily disrupt those structures which is why we feel sick, dizzy, etc. Kids get a thrill out of that dizzy feeling which is why they're constantly looking for ways to spin around, but as adults it's just plain scary! It makes sense that you're still feeling a little off from the spinning-- it threw your balance off. You should be feeling fine, soon!
