I need help laparoscopy , general anesthesy, flu

I jad a surgery progammed for tomorrow, but the doctor of my social security said that he couldnt do it because my flu could be a problem wirh the anestesia, they put a tube in the tracheal.

Another doctor (private) said he could do it wirh another process, he said he the tube can go in the vocal cords ornsomething, not in the tracheal, and that antibiotocs could help my problem, that it was not a big problem.

Have you heard about this? I want to have the freaking surgery and i dont want to rush. This surgery means the world to me

I am sorry you are getting conflicting information from your doctors. 

...and I know it is hard to wait, when you just want to get something over with and behind you...

However, erring on the side of caution when it comes to a medical procedure may be in your best interest, as far as recovery goes.

I wish you the best in your decicion, and please keep us posted, so we can keep you in support!

I had my surgery. Everythibg is fine, there's a lottle pain and my lungs hurt. But In fine. Im talking , waling slow. Thank you.

Thank you, S.C. i've been ok.

I just felt dizzy today.
But I sneezed two times and I'm scared that
the sutires break or something :/

Can that happen?

WM,

I think that sneezing a couple of times is not going to have a negative effect on your surgery site.

If you have pain in the area (new pain, not recovery pain) and/or any seeping at the incision, then that will need to be addressed...
...but otherwise you should be fine. :)

Continue to rest and recover!

I wwnr to the bathroom on my own and I felt I was going to slip and I made an effort, and it hurt in my chest, the place where they worked, I had peirods of hurt. Im fine now. How does it feel when a suture is broken? Does it hurt?

And I can breath naturraly, wasn't it supppsed to hurt? If the esophagus is sealed with the sutures, it should hurt , I think. What if the sutures are broken :(

I am not a doctor, and not knowing your exact procedure...I am really not able to answer your questions...

I thought your sutures were EXternal.

Call your surgical team/doctor for follow up advice. They can tell you best what you should be expecting in terms of your recovery.

I feel better today, thank you, SC. Iwent to the hospital two nights ago, I was dehydrated. And i feel much better today. I wish I could eat everything. Im starving. Im tired of the liquid diet.

How much longer on the liquid diet? Do you then go to semi solid, and then finally solid eventually?

Yes, it works that way. Hopefully I will be able to est normally within a month or a little more. And yes, I'm off work :).
