Wake up in few hrs

Hi all,
Can anxiety or panic wake you up from sleep and you sleep only few hrs a night like 3 to 4'
Since 1 week I am on such cycle though I am on ambien for sleep.

Any insights..will Ativan make me sleepy.

Had to take 1 Ativan tonight .

What is going on...am I becoming medicine resistant .

Woke up tonight with Acid troubles and throat tightened.....
Pls help..

Sorry this is happening.:( This is not uncommon at all with both anxiety and depression...

Talk to your doctor about a short acting sleeping Rx(Intermezzo for example)...one that is designed to help get you back to sleep for about 4 hrs only...this may fit your pattern and challenges.

Do not mix a benzo with your Ambien without consulting your doctor first...I am not sure, but I am pretty certain this would not be a compatible mix!

No you're not medicine resistant.
I do sleep 4 to 6 hours if I'm lucky.
But when I take my anxiety/panic and pain medicine at the same time, I get more sleep.
This winter has been really cold, so my lower back is hurting a lot, due to my back surgery.
Normally, we have a mild winter here, but this year it went to East Coast!!!!
I should be a weather person, because my back has a metal plate and 8 screws, so my body lets me know a had of time what the weather is going to be. Funny, huh?
But some times I wake up every hour to see what time it is.
It is anointing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I start praying to God, and God helps me feel better and I'm back to a sleep.
And some days I just stay up and go to Internet and find something that would distract me.

My opinion about Acid troubles with your throat closing is maybe it is anxiety, you might want to go see a doctor about that.
