Holiday Anxiety

I'm a mess
Too much to do, too many other things going on not holiday related, don't know how I'll get everything done before I host Christmas Eve & Day. RA is flaring in shoulders, elbow, hands....
The true reason for the season is so lost and that is so sad.
I lost both my Father and my brother this time of year
I'm exhausted but I can't sleep well
Mindful Meditation in my earbuds every night when I go to bed. Sometimes need it again if I wake up 3 ish.....
So tired of the shopping and the wrapping
Have to close now to wrap what I bought today...

Right there with you, wearyrasufferer. No motivation to get anything done. I can't wait for it to be over... Christmas is not the same without our loved ones. Trying to get through it and it helps knowing I'm not alone even though I hate you're feeling this way too. It sucks.

I agree, focus on one thing at a time, and don't sacrifice your health for anything.

I am very stressed as well. Lots of pain in my joints and muscles, and so many people to see Christmas eve and day. I mostly feel like a zombie just going through the motions, not saying much to people but yet trying to make everything perfect. I've learned that no one else cares about the details as much as we do. So when we fall short of our own expectations, it's still perfectly fine for everyone else. We have to give ourselves a break sometimes and just enjoy the moment as best we can.
