when I had a really bad time with anxiety when I was pregnant with my son 8 years ago I used to post on here often. because what I am going through now reminds me so much of when I went through then I decided to search the name I went by then - Keli927. it was weird reading my old posts but one thing stuck out - how everything I described then is exactly how I feel right now. Back then I actually thought it was Zoloft side effects but since I am no longer on Zoloft my guess would be that it was anxiety then and its anxiety now. How can anxiety create such horrible physical symptoms. I feel like someone is squeezing my head. How can it all just be created in my mind???

It's astounding isn't it?

...but a couple of positives stick out at me from this...

One, you have looked back and been able to see your journey here, and come to some epiphanies that will help you in moving forward. You realized a truth about your Rx, and that is valuable!

The other is you can see through your records, that this is a pattern. You may be in a temporary tough spot...but you will get through it as you did previously. :)

Good job on looking into the archives...I think it was a helpful.step for you!

I find it is useful to look over old posts because it helps you identify any patterns which you can then work at breaking by using your coping skills.

Anxiety can cause a whole host of horrible physical effects there is to many to list.

I hope you see some improvements soon keep us posted we are here for you.

it was seriously eye-opening for me and I wish I had done it sooner! To read my own words describe EXACTLY how Im feeling right now only 8 yrs ago - really hit me. Im so glad I did that. This morning I woke up with no headaches. I felt good. I took my daughter to school, came home and took a long hot shower - actually did my hair and dressed somewhat nice for once. Picked her back up and then made some Christmas returns Ive been meaning to make. It was nice walking around the stores with my daughter. She returned a doll she didn't want and picked out something else and picked out a present for her friend whose party is on sunday. We were laughing and having fun. Then we went home and my son got home from school. Took him to karate (and signed up for kickboxing while Im there!!!) and then took him to make his Christmas return (something he already had) and he picked out something else. It was at AC Moore so while there I got a few adult coloring books and a journal to start writing in. after dinner the 3 of us sat at the table and all colored together. theyre in bed now and this is my FIRST time on the computer today which also helped a lot!!! I need to stay off this thing! Im on in wayyyy tooo much! I do work part-time from home though so I do have to get on it at times but I need to just get on do my work and get off! Nw that the kids are in bed and Ive been thinking about a few things I am feeling a few twinges in my head and ears but Im telling myself its all ok and I just need to ride it out. going to do my work now and hopefully have another good day tomorrow. one day at a time!!!

NMP, you are an amazing young woman and Mother, in VN we called what you have done is the 1000 meter stare,
guy who had been there a while would get off alone and look, just look, in their mind they were reliving something it could be anything, in most cases they were a little more mature regardless of their age, it was just that something had changed, "they were no longer afraid".
You have successfully threaded the eye of the needle and now know the truth, no matter what happens it can and will get better. Real heroism and courage is not just about being fearless, it's sometimes being scared to death and still getting up and doing your duty, taking care of business, Knowing, anxiety cant and wont kill us. Peace
