Heart anxiety

I'm at my wits end with this fear . I get chest pain every day and weird sensations in chest which scare me really badly that I end up with panic attack. I have had stress test done and holter monitor and on Tuesday I ended up in hospital because of pain. They did ecg chest xray bloods for heart and even a d dimer but because I'm having chest pain today all that means nothing to me cause I'm still thinking it heart related and I'm terrified. Xxx

Thanks scaredy cat. I'm tired of being afraid of the chest pains thinking it heart attack all the time. they are getting me down and this week has been a rough week.

Hi Larry I can get the pain in the centre of chest but at the moment it on left side . It's like a dull ache I suppose. It was stabbing a bit earlier. It doesn't seem to b in my arm to b honest. It's just around the left side of chest . I keep telling myself I'm ok but i don't believe it. Xx

I'm right there with you. I have had chest pains for the past two days. On the left side and in my back at the shoulder blade also left side.

I have been to the cardiologist and have had numerous test done. Blood test, EKG, echo, ct angiogram with contrast, nuclear stress test, 7day heart monitor. Admitted for observation and all test have came back clear.

The cardiologist says its all anxiety and I need to learn to control it. He acted like it's something I can turn off an on when I want to. (Wouldn't that be wonderful if we could)

Anyway, even though I have all the test confirming that my ticker is good. I'm still getting pains, so that amps my anxiety up and my mind starts thinking the worst and that the doctors some how missed something.

It's hard to just forget about the pains when they are there. I do take ativan for my anxiety and I do guided meditation. It seems to help, but your not alone and I hope you feel some relief soon.

One more thing I also have the alive core attachment that I got on the back of my phone it is an EKG look it up online it's very useful and helpful for me or anybody I think with an anxiety disorder so you don't run to the hospital multiple times it will tell you if your EKG is normal it will tell you if you're in afib sometimes it will come back with a message unclassified and you can pay either $2 dollars or $12 or $5 dollars and it goes right to EKG analyst or to an actual cardiologist and they will send you a report back It can get out a hand if you feel like this is not a good thing for you I would not get it I only use it when I feel like my panic is out-of-control are my hearts really racing and I'm scared that I'll use it and it comes back not normal and I send the analyst out and they send it back to me saying sinus tachycardia with PVCs or just sinus tachycardia normal rhythm and then Bam my anxiety automatically stops due to the fact that I'm like OK nothings going on I'm fine and I know it was just anxiety these were not supposed to be giving out to people only to patients per Dr.'s but now you can actually buy it online and have it it's about $99 and I do love it my doctors at work I work for a cardiologist office told me I should get it so I got it and it gives me peace of mind.
