Please help me

I am sorry....I know how difficult this is, and how convincing the symptoms and anxiety can be!

Sometimes no amount of tests and reassuring will help us get over the hurdle of fear regarding our health.

Okay, that is good! How long have you been in therapy? For me it took weeks...

...actually, it was towards the end (and even after!) of my sessions that the benefits started for me...so hang in there, don't lose hope...and give your recovery your all!

Doing the self help alongside with your other treatments will enhance your program.

Use positive mantras to diffuse the fearful messages the anxiety is constantly sending you. Combat them with a statement like this:

"I am okay, this is only anxiety making me feel these symptoms."

There is hope for recovery...keep up your efforts!

I have felt the way you feel many times, actually this was me just the other day. I have had every cardiac test they could possibly do except a heart cath or them opening me up. My cardiologist says its all anxiety. I have started therapy, but only had two sessions so far.

What I have found that works really good for me is guided meditation. The one I go to the most is called letting go of anxiety. It is my Jason Stephenson and you can find it on YouTube.

It helps calm me down and gets my mind focus else where. I have very high health anxiety and I swear I'm having a heart attack every time my anxiety level decides to pop up.

I also take .05 of ativan just to help calm things down. As of right now that is the only medication I take. I also do a lot of breathing exercises, which work sometimes it feels like it takes forever, but I know that its just my anxiety trying to mess with my mind.

Your not alone and you will get through it. If you have time check out one of the guided meditations. There are many to choose from, so just find one that works best for you. Good luck and relax( I know easier said then done) you will be fine. Just keep repeating to yourself. This is only anxiety and I am ok and I am stronger than this. I will be fine just take a deep breath and let out all the negative.

Bluebell, Pay real attention to what i am going to say, "If you had real heart trouble you would already
be gone". Understand the context here you have pushed your physical system to its limits with fear and nothing has happened. "your enemy is fear", fear has no power except what you and i allow. You need a distraction, something to totally focus on this will give you a protective garment to wear when you feel uneasy, it will give you time to get up off the floor of defeat and punch anxiety/panic right in the nose. You can do this in fact you will do this, no one stays where you are, we all get all we can stand and fight like all for all we are worth, your day is coming, punch that bag. Peace

i went through the same thing. was shure my heart was bad. all kinds of pains etc.
