Switching from Restoril to Lunesta for sleep anxiety

I posted a few days ago about problems changing from Nortriptyline 35mg to Effexor 75mg using diazapam 3 to 4mg to help with the anxiety and 30mg Restoril for sleep. I think the change to Effexor is starting to get a little better. The restoril is loosing is effectiveness after 3 weeks so my Dr started me on Lunesta generic 3mg last night. Got about 5 or 6 hrs which is good but woke up feeling very bad. Also only 2mg diazapam yesterday when I'm used to taking normally 4 for the last several months. My question is what is causing this additional nasty anxiety. I'm always trying to figure out the whys. Probably too many factors. Should I be tapering the restoril, maybe went too low on the diazepam or could starting the lunesta cause anxiety initially? It's probably impossible to know but any input would be appreciated. Thank you for your advice it's really appreciated and your kind words. I just read somewhere that Lunesta can cause anxiety, should I continue with the Lunesta or go back to the restoril?

I have a call into my doctor now, we'll discuss it but I think I'll probably give lunesta another chance, it's just my overall anxiety here just worrying about everything, got to get that under control, just breathe. I got to keep thinking positive overall I am getting better. I've been down this road before with some other issues, time to heal, I'm just a little impatient.
