Questions about Prozac side effects

Hi all,
I am on Prozac 5 mgs then moving up to 10 mgs. My question is did anyone have chest tightness, pain in the back or sore throat? I'm feeling ok otherwise, except for the above. Only been on it a few days, so going to try my hardest to stick it out. If anyone has any input if this is a side effect or if this is something I should have a concern about. Taking my ativan for anxiety because it has been a little more intense. I'm doing my breathing exercises and meditation, but the pain just doesn't want to go away. Any advise would be greatly appreciated. I did check past post but didn't really find anything to answer my question.

No I haven't had any of this before, and taking the ativan does not release it at all. Since I have only been on it a few days I was thinking about not taking it tonight and see how I feel in the morning and if I don't have any pains then take the medicine, because then I guess it was a effect of the Prozac. I was thinking about switching to morning anyway, because I took it last night feel asleep and woke up at 2am wide awake.

Yes calling the doctor Monday, because I felt pretty good otherwise, so if she says its a side effect and nothing to worry about then I will ride it out!! Fingers crossed because I was really hoping this would be the one.

I take Prozac and have a good response, however it was a hard go getting started, I kept having weird symptoms/side effects and kept stopping and starting. In the end I decided to put faith in my doctor and just swallow the darn pull everyday regardless of how I felt, eventually I balanced out but this took several weeks and a lot of faith. You may have sore muscles in your chest simply from tension and fear of the medication. I know this happens to me, meditation has helped me recognize when I am doing this, but it is a daily effort to remain aware. Anyways I hope the Prozac helps eventually.
