Good Morning,
I started 10 mg Lexapro on Tuesday morning. Previous to starting I had a weekend almost being anxiety free while on vacation. I think the distraction of being away really helped. Though I still had the constant worry around my appetite and stomach, but my overall anxiety and worry outside of that was almost 0%.
Past 3 days were pretty good. 2nd day had some anxiety during a meeting at work, but got through it. On Tuesday, my appetite was even more on track, though still not where I think it should be.
Woke up this morning and felt strange. That weird "woosh" feeling came over my head/arms, like it did when I first started the 5mg. I had trouble going back to sleep. Since getting up out of bed I have been in and out of bouts with feeling anxious and weird like that. I seem to be feeling better now, but was wondering, could this be my body adjusting to the new dosage? Could it be a strong recurrence of Anxiety for some reason?
So my question is, and I know if varies by person, how long can it take your body to adjust to the new dosage? Can it be 4 days in or more? Can you still have decent bouts of anxiety that lasts for hours on and off? I imagine there can still be good days and bad days?
Again, over the past week it has been much more good than bad, but I guess maybe I expect too much, too fast, and then when I get hit with something, it throws me off track for a bit. I know it will take more time, and work.
