help :( so freaked out

anyone had tight face muscles, its hard to explain, on the right cheek its very tight feeling, sometimes feels even numb a bit. sometimes I even catch myself smiling on one side well concentrating or sleeping, like stiffining only on side. its getting scary and happens on and off for a month now. I have been to the doctor but Im scared they missed something because they lable it as anxiety, I havent met or heard of this happening to anyone, so I wanna know if you guys have heard of this? or had it?

We're you able to follow up with the possible causes that your doctor gave you?

A mouth guard might be a good investment for the teeth grinding....

...and have you consulted with your dentist about the wisdom tooth...

...and finally the trapped nerve possibility in your neck. Have you seen a chiropractor for advice?

With these very logical explanations to explore...trying to put your energy into finding a treatment plan for them...

...will help diffuse the what-ifs that the anxiety is trying to derail you with!

Since your symptoms are of a come and go nature...

...coupled with the fact that you have some stressors in your situation at the moment...

...and finally add in that your doctors did not find any reason to be concerned...

I truly believe that you are dealing with either anxiety symptoms, or the possibilities that your doctor mentioned...but not a serious disease.

Go through all our our health anxiety self help in the Resources. ..even if you've done it before. It can be a process that takes repetition...but it will help with practice.
