Forgot to take my lexapro last night

I did that once, when I was on Lexapro. I thought it probably would not matter much, but I asked my doctor anyway. He said something like "don't worry about it -- missing one dose won't affect you at all." My guess is what you are feeling is less a result of having missed a dose and more just because you are focused on the fact that you missed the dose and thinking about that and worried about it etc.

Of the millions of people who take SSRIs, think about how many of them miss an occasional dose my mistake. I am sure it is a huge number. And then they resume taking their meds, on the normal schedule, and do fine.

I have times when I miss two days and start feeling funny. At that point I realize I have forgotten to take it and just get back on track. You will be fine. I find it is better if I set an alarm to remember to take it. Otherwise, I can get confused since I lose track of time. (I also use a days of the week pill box to be sure I know if I took it or not.
