I've posted a few times recently regarding headaches here, but now I'm really starting to freak out. I've been thinking about what else has changed recently, and within the past month I've started chiropractic treatment which includes neck adjustments. I saw this article online and now I'm freaking out http://www.chiropracticstroke.com/britt.stroke.php.

Now I'm worried I have a tear in my artery, or somehow I'm going to have a stroke. I'm really worried now and have that sense of impending doom like its coming soon...

Have you started or increased any Meds? I have been suffering with headaches for 4 days now. Do your sinuses hurt or do you have allergies ? I'm trying to stay focused on that and nothing worse. Don't google symptoms. They can trigger anxiety.

Dev, how old are you? do you have any other health problems? I'm asking because what you read is
unheard of in the real world, we all have enough problems without looking for more on google, Peace

@bambola2nv I don't take any medications other than zertec for allergies and zantec for heart burn. I do have seasonal allergies, some days are bad, others are okay.

@lgm1942 I am 28 years old, 6 foot, 220 lbs. I workout 30 minutes of moderate / intense cardio daily, and try to do 10,000 steps walking everyday. I don't have any health problems or family history of health problems, other than my grandfather being diabetic. I used to have high blood pressure when I was up around 275 lbs.

Must be the allergies. Cause I'm feeling the same. And I suffer with seasonal allergies. 4 days now with headache. Plus increases my Meds I'm on so could be that too.

You are not the only person to have this exact worry...

...we had an almost exact duplicate post on this very subject just a while back!

I can tell you that member was absolutely fine...and you will be too!

Put your energy, time and efforts into self help/therapy...and try not to google!

Thanks Scaredy Cat, I feel like you are becoming my rock on this forum providing reassurance lol. For me personally its just so hard because once I get a thought in my head its very difficult to get it out. I suffer from OCD too, which has been much worse than usually the past 3-4 months. Why does anxiety have to mimic so many different things.

On a positive note, I've been awake nearly 2 hours and so far I've had minor head pressure but not a headache like I had yesterday.

aww dev you sound just like me here i am worrying ive got something wrong with my aterys because i getting bad tight chest feelings and cant get it out of my head ;( and i now next week it will be something else the other week it was a blood clot ;(

Hi icando,

The last time I had went through a bad anxiety episode a few years ago it was my heart. I was convinced I was going to drop over dead any day from a heart attack, or irregular heartbeat, or enlarged heart, or blod clot. It was always something. Now its a stroke.

mines been going on for the last few months and really feel im going to die soon through some problem with my heart ive even gave up smoking but still dont help my mindset at moment i think my anxietys gone through the roof lately really wish i could find us some magic cure

We have self help for OCD/intrusive thoughts...and Health Anxiety, as well as Therapy Worksheets and Positive Affirmations/Mantras (and more!) in our Resources.

If I haven't already bombarded you with these links... (lol, I'm a big self help pusher!)
