Will most doctors be closed tomorrow?

I was just thinking: I was going to start calling to find in-networks PCPs but... are most closed on the fourth of July? I can still call around, but I'm now thinking I'll have to wait until Tuesday to start making calls to see one, who will then hopefully refer me to a psychiatrist.

EDIT: Obviously, this doesn't apply to our friends here outside the US. =P

happy 4th to my friends down the road. in Australia, ya either up or just down the road. America, down the road!!! I am down the road, as I am coastal...it's an aussie thing. a 8 drive is just down the road...just up the road, is usually a little shorter!!!! depends on who what and where ya goin' and who is driving.

you should be able to do your calling, most larger providers and insurance companies answer phones 24/7 and can at least get you scheduled. you more than likely wont talk to someone in a particular clinic but a call center. where we live i was looking for 24 hour pharmacies and ran across a few 24 urgent care centers that were open, as well as cvs and walgreens minute clinics. i'd assume that if you are looking for a dedicated pcp to see from here on out, yes they'd be closed, but urgent care has always been more than happy get me by and a referral to psych. but yes, all else fails you'll have numbers and be all set for tommorow. good luck!
