Feel like hangover from seroquel

Hi all
I m taking seroquel generic 50 mg and feel like a zombie.It knocks me over and next day I sleep whole day and afternoon and in night I am woke awake .

What other med can help me ,any suggestions.

My doc seems to like Ambien only but I developed resistance to it.

Also I get regular day mares as I sleep during day and my appetite has become huge ,I eat and feel bad later.

All junk .....I don't even remember eating ....10 packs of candies and chips.......

I have gained 20 lbs already and I feel extremely helpless.

I hate myself. For this.....

I did not do well on Seroquel and with your side effects, I would recommend you talk to your Dr about trying something else. Talk to them about your concerns and they should be able to try something else.

My Dr has been wonderful about realizing my need for meds that don't have weight gain side effects (since I struggle with weight anyway), etc.

There are a lot of choices out there. Have them keep trying until you find what works well for you. I feel for you with the "daymares". I haven't had a night without nightmares in so long I don't remember. Ugh!
