Has anyone ever tried using essential oils to help their anxiety? If so, what have you tried/are using and what have your results been? I started using them about
two weeks ago and it's helping although it is an adjustment for your body to eliminate built up toxins.

Hi MSP,
I think if YOU as an individual find this comforting/calming then it should be a part of your management plan...certainly. Every component adds up to the big picture of our personal recovery needs!
Lavender is known for its peaceful scent...and my sister gave me a necklace vial with frankincense oil that is very relaxing.
Is it the end all/be all of anxiety treatment...surely not...but it could be a part of it. :)

I've been wanting to try essential oils for a while now, they seem kind of interesting. The only natural "remedy" I've been using is drinking Kava Stress Relief tea by Yogi, it works really well for me.

I use lavender oil in my bedroom every evening. I just put a drop or 2 on the light bulb and my room smells peaceful. I think it helps.
I also drink the yogi tea--for me it's 'calm' and 'stress less'. I think they work wonderful on anxiety.
