Hi Family,

Last night just before bed I was laying down, and took my pill. I don't think I took it with enough water because I felt it slide down, and then it proceeded to give me the worst heart burn where I actually had to induce vomiting to see if it would help the discomfort. It was in my lower throat and upper back.

I took Zoloft a few years back, and for me it caused sever heart burn (to the point of chest pain), and stomach issues. The first 2-3 weeks were particularly rough, but it did get better. Personally I found it more tolerable to take with dinner, rather than an empty stomach.

Zoloft does not give people heartburn. I have been on Zoloft since March. Do I get acid reflex, yes but from the foods I eat and if I eat at a late time. Do not get discouraged please.

never had an issue with that, i did have dry almost numb wierd feeling in my mouth when i was taking half a pill and the powdery non coated part touched my tounge, so i took it like a puppy with peanut butter or cheese lol

I take it with some sort of food.. like cereal with milk preferably or something already in my stomach..

Yes it will definitely do that to me although I don't vomit but yeah bad heart burn eat something with it or chug water
