Okay I suffer from allergies and I'm on Flonase two sprays ea. nostril everyday. Does nothing. I have been having an ear problem, blocked tube I was told. My doctor says to just stay on the flonase. Isn't there a ear drop that can help this pain and itchiness. The ear pressure, and stuffiness is making me very anxious.

It depends on whether the problem is congestion within the ear (inner ear, behind the eardrum) or wax build up in the outer ear.

You could try having your ears irrigated/washed out. This is a simple procedure done at the doctor's office...

...or even using an OTC, such as 'Debrox' earwax removal drops...

...however, if the issue isn't wax, but internal congestion...then only a decongestant will help.

Ask your doctor if a decongestant pill such as Sudafed (or other OTC) might work better than the Flonase.

Exactly what SC said. I have had a terrible week with my ear is was plugged aND making me feel dizzy and pressure in my head. I just irrigated it and finally the plug came out. So happy bUt what a nightmare.

I had to go to urgent care this morning, so much pain and pressure. The doctor there said I have a nasty infection and put me on ear drops. This is horrible.

I am so sorry! :( That is so painful, I know!

I am glad you went in. I have had an ear infection without fever before...and not even much pain...so it is hard to tell sometimes. :/

I am sure by you'll be feeling better after using the (antibiotic?) drops for a day or so.
