Thanks to all for their input.
The weekend with the shaved head was good, but the maintenance is going to be crazy! I know someone that shaves his every 2-3 days. It's just like a beard. Now my head feels kind of weird. People at the salon think I look better since I was thinning and I got mostly good feedback this weekend. Ma says she likes me with hair better. Of course she does. *sigh*
I'm trying to let my toes annoy me. It's just one of those things. I'm going to start back at the gym today for a 5th or 6th time (not kidding) and see how it goes. No squats! I have to keep that hernia in check!
Well, while it was a sad affair, the clock literally turned back 20 years this weekend. It was truly amazing. I was hardly recognizable anyway most likely, I certainly wasn't with the bald head for most. Instead of being shy, I engaged people. My dear friend's sister said I need to come to town so she can help me out with the ladies. ROFL. I spoke to a classmate's older sister for a long time, but unfortunately she's married. My friend's sister thinks I should rock a beard, but I'm even worse with beard maintenance.
Anywayyyy, my friend's brother was truly loved. I don't worry about her too much because she has such a solid support system. It was heartbreaking to talk to her dad, but he's a strong man. I was supportive, but did say the worst has yet to come because I went through it. I really just wanted them to keep the support going even after the fact. I told my friend, her husband, her friend, just how highly I think of her. All this really is unfair, but God has a plan for us all. Does anyone have any experience with starting a large fund raiser? I'd like to raise some funds for his 4 year old's education fund. Since we have 14 years or so, I would like to put the money into an account that will be low-risk and guaranteed to accrue interest. I don't care for the fees associated with Go Fund Me and such. As a business major, I should know this stuff.
