JG,
Yes, dizziness is a common symptom...and one that I've struggled with!
The most common and likely cause is rapid shallow breathing. When anxious or panicking we often hyperventilate without even realizing it. This absolutely brings on dizzy spells, as the CO2 and O2 are out of balance in our blood.
Therefore practicing breathing exercises is key. You can learn different ones and see what is most effective for you. Practicing daily is important, so slow deep breathing becomes.second nature to you.
The other less common, but still entirely possible cause of dizziness is upper body tension. Some people hold so much chronic tension in their shoulders and neck, that blood supply to the brain can actually be affected! Practicing Progressive Muscle Relaxation as well as stretching/massage will help.
I hope you find relief soon!
