Hi everybody,
My aunt who I was extremely close to passed away 3 months ago. My anxiety has been so bad these past months. I saw my therapist today and my doctor gave me refills for Xanax.does anyone know of an on-line grieving site? Has anyone here had to try and get through such a tough loss.?
I've been thru a lot soft loses in myb44yrs but this one is by far the worst so far. My aunty was only 55 we were so close. She died of colon cancer. I'm lost without her. The night is the hardest because that's when we chatted. My cat has also been sick so I've been sad about her as well
I told my therapist I feel like I have a black hole in my heart 😥

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your Aunt.:( It is so difficult to grieve a close companion who has always held a special place in our hearts.

I don't know of a grieving forum specifically...but have you heard of GriefShare? They have meetings regularly at churches and community centers...

Losing someone so close to us is very hard but the only thing that we can do is to carry on in spite of the heavy grief in our hearts. I lost a close friend a few years ago and the first year was the toughest. A lot of everyday things would remind me of that person. Something so ordinary as a new menu item at a favorite restaurant or the sight of a dog being taken for a walk down the street would remind me of my friend and make me remember that she is no longer here.

Believing that there will be a time that we will meet again and that love of all kinds never fades nor dies, has helped me through my grief.
