That's awesome! Doesn't it feel great! Regardless of where your journey takes you always remember how good it feels to be calm, to have more control. If your fear gets bad bring your thoughts back to how it feels to be calm and in control, work towards it. Even if you lose your "calm" it is possible to get back to it.
Fear? Oh yes. Fear can cause anxiety and shatter your calm, your peace.

Your journey and the reason for it is different than mine but I do know and understand. If I had to guess I would say your subconscious mind knows and holds the answers you seek. The fear kicks in as you get closer, possibly because the reason is something you buried long ago. I don't know, I have probably spent way too many years working with a Psychotherapist
