Hi all,
I've been on Lexapro for about 3 months now. I've had issues in highschool where my eyes would randomly go blurry if I sat in the back of the class and the chalkboard would be blurry. It only happened a couple of times. My mom has glasses, and is basically blind without them. My sister wears contacts, and my dad has reading glasses. I've been lucky and had no issues with my eyes so far. Knock on wood. But the last couple of months my eyes are slightly blurry, I can see close up, but sometimes far away looks somewhat blurry. Also, my baby has been awake A LOT at night still, so I'm not sure if it's my medicine (lexapro) making my eyes blurry or not sleeping enough... I WAS on lexapro around the age of 14-15 (maybe thats why my eyes got blurry in school), so I'm not sure if this medicine is doing this to me or not. I can't remember even taking the medicine or when I did, I just know I did according to my psychiatrist. Also I'm very exhausted..
Oh another thing: not related to eyes...
Since being on this medicine I still get the brain "hiccups" or "shivers".... its like my brain jolts for half a second. The ONLY times I notice it is when I'm taking a hot shower, or driving. My mom thinks it because i'm overly tired and my brain/body is trying to relax during these times..which causes the "jolt" feeling. any input?
I'm on 10 mg lexapro..
Thank you
