Mersey here again -- my one-time "breathing teacher" (Buteyko method) suggested to me that hormone balance has a great deal of effect on breathing (and the feeling that I don't breathe "right" has a huge impact on my anxiety levels). She thought I should have blood levels of estrogen, progesterone, and a thyroid panel checked, at the very least. Does anyone here have any experience with any of this? Or just any comments (partly to see if I'm making sense!)? I'm still trying to figure out why I feel so awful so much of the time :(
