Friends,
Kindness can go a long way. Often times, especially of late, I'm not feeling all that well. A customer came in and we talked about dogs and just random things for a few minutes and I forgot all about my ailments. Now I'm sad to see him go.
Point is, friends and other people can help you forget things even if just for a little while. The only thing I remember from Psychology 101 in 1999 is that the brain can only be 100% focused on something at a time which is absolutely true.
I'm branching out some and trying something new TWICE on Saturday just to get out of the house. I joined something called MeetUps long ago and have only taken a few opportunities where it's concerned. For the first event, I'm going to a dog park and the second is like a photoshoot which should be good for a laugh.
I hope I inspire at least one of you to be kinder than necessary and to get out and try new things. Perhaps trying new things can cause some anxiety, but aren't you glad you tried? It's better than wondering what could have been.
Love,
smooth
