Anybody taking Wellbutrin for GAD ????

I took Lexapro for 2 years and it helped with my anxiety but I gained 50lbs. Last 6 months I've been on Buspar and I feel like the anxiety is seeping back a little . I was thinking of trying Wellbutrin. I heard it is good for GAD and weight loss . I heard it's not so good for Panic Attack disorder but good for GAD . Anyone out there can give me some feedback?

It is worth trying I believe...

Not typically an anxiety medication that is first in line for consideration...but that doesn't mean it won't meet your needs, considering your criteria.

Are you and your doctor talking about it as an addition to your Buspar...or in place of it?

I have never tried it but know a lot of folk who have and have had good results with it so give it a go and see if it works for you.

Thank you both! We haven't talked about adding it to Buspar or replacing it but we did discuss Wellbutrin maybe being an option.
