Anyone else have major issue with this? Looks like our weather might get bad this afternoon and I am so scared. Stay safe everyone who might be in the areas.

I like severe weather. It's different from day to day, ordinary weather.

I just like the rain part, and a little bit of thunder, is OK. Can you retreat to an interior room and wait it out?

How bad is the weather supposed to get?

Oh, a tornado.

I thought someone was getting anxious over a forecast of a thunderstorm.

Then when I saw the name, I thought "time2relclaim" is not going to get upset over a little something like that.

Tornado!!! Yeah, center room of the house, is what they tell me on the Weather Channel.

Have you ever seen one? Has one ever touched down in your area? Do you hear the stories?

I see those on the Weather Channel, and I get scared just looking at them. I was once driving through the country, and everything got still with dark clouds, and I thought, "If I even just see a tornado, it would do me in."

You problem don't watch a lot of "Tornado Ally" on the Weather Channel, do you?

I watched it just last night, and it said Oklahoma
was the target for tornadoes because of cold air coming in from the Rockies, dry air from Mexico we'll say, and hot air coming in from the Gulf of Mexico, we'll say. And all of that meets in Oklahoma.

Are you getting anxious?

I live in Missouri. I've spent a total of almost 9 years here and we have been in more than a few warnings. I wouldn't mind as much but the basement is horrible and no one wants to go there. I haven't been in a Tornado thankfully. We did have one touch down outside of town last year and we had very green sky another day during a warning. My hubby had family who went through the tornado in Joplin and we did go down there and see the destruction. It was very sad.

We are sitting in a tornado watch now so my fingers are crossed we just get thunderstorms. Scary to me.

I don't live in a severe weather area, but I have family in the midwest and they often explain their nervousness and anxiety about severe weather warnings, but more often than not, everything turns out just fine.

Put your coping skills to use and hang in there. Know we are with you and will help you get thru this!

Where to you go in your house if you should get a tornado?

What's wrong with the basement? Is it wet? If so, can you bucket some of the water out, or wear rubber golashes if a tornado did come?

Glad you haven't been in a tornado. One touching down out of the city is close enough for anybody. Green skies doesn't sound good.

Also sorry to hear about Joblin recently getting a tornado, and the damage that you saw. You ought to be with the Red Cross and comfort people.

Fingers are crossed during the tornado watch. Ours are too. Let us know when we have the "All Clear" sign.

As they say about public education facilities, "In case of a tornado, the restrictions against prayer in school will be lifted."

I'm sitting down to supper in front of my TV, switch to the weather channel, and there is this band of severe thunderstorms about 600 or more miles wide barreling toward Missouri and several other states.

Then it said it was going to hit my eastern seaboard state tomorrow night. Now, that is serious!

I know you said it was bad, but I didn't know it was this bad. It said winds of 60 to 70 miles per hour in some places.

It said, two tornadoes in Iowa and four tornadoes in Missouri.

It said over the past 30 minutes or so that it is going on right now. In real time.

Gosh, time2reclaim, I hope y'all are taking precautions. I was saying, give us the "All Clear," but this thing is worse than I thought.

One video I saw of a car riding toward the storm, and there is lightning all over the place.

You might ought to cut off and unplug your computer, and TV, etc. Lightning could hit the line and harm your computer, etc. It knocked out my dishwasher several years ago.

Please take precaution. Might best wait till the storm is over to get back to us. Don't scare us like this, time2reclaim.

It's all good at my house. Seeing lots of damage on the news in different towns. Evidently there were quite a few smaller tornadoes, thankfully no very big ones.

All's well that ends well.

Now I'll be going through some of that same storm that went through Missouri tomorrow (Tuesday) night in my eastern seaboard state.

Weather travels from the West coast to the East coast.

Glad you made it through. How were your nerves holding up as it approached?
