hello everyone. i posted a few weeks ago. i have an extreme fear of vomiting and my son and i both a virus in january with vomiting. well i have heard of some getting a second virus or the same one coming back.........he now has a bad cold which i was up all night worrying about bc of the coughing. when he woke up this morning he threw up after some coughing. im wondering if it was caused by the coughing or mucus. i have barely ate or drank today bc im so scared i will throw up.

advice or experiences appreciated.

Don't panic. You're ok. You're going to be just fine. He could have thrown up due to the coughing AND mucus. I'm a smoker, which may be way different from being sick, but the same thing happens with a smoker. There's so much mucus in the morning sometimes you'll cough and cough and cough until finally throwing up.

I hope your son feels better soon. Hang in there, all will be fine.

Thank you, I appreciate that and he has thrown up before when he has had coughing. My anxiety about vomiting is just horrible right now....And he does seem to be feeling better so maybe that helped him get the mucus out...

How are things going today? I'm sure all is better! Just wanted to let you know I can totally relate to this. I have 3 kids so sickness happen and sometimes they spread. Every time I completely lose my appetite!
