Scaredy cat it's only a trigger for me in the sense that, if I read someone's had it and then it's come back or something then I think
Oh no what if I get it back etc, and because I might not understand their dp I just assume it's like what I had which was severe 24/7 it's just part of my OCD irrational thinking I guess. Which is why I have avoided the topic for so long, the less I look into something, the less chance I have of developing that way of thinking. Best just to be avoided since this has given me problems in the past.
Scaredy cat, I assume you've never had dp to the degree of it being chronic and constant for a significant amount of time? I sometimes hear people say, they feel numb because they're in shock or it's situational and I do get it, but it's just weird coming from the angle I have. It's certainly nice to be able to feel
