I'll try to keep this short as possible. I've had candida since June or July of 2016, but just found out officially a couple months ago. Symptoms included everything from stomach issues and headaches and fatigue to really bad anxiety. Well I've been taking Nystatin for about a month now in addition to probiotics and vitamins. I'm pretty certain the candida is mostly gone or at least much better, but the anxiety is really bad still. Candida can cause anxiety, but this anxiety is moreso about being worried that I'm going to pass out on my job. I hate the dizzy feeling it gives me. I hate the lump in my throat. It's a horrible feeling. It was so bad for a while I didn't even want to drive or go to the store.
Lately I've been trying to put myself out there to get used to it and face my fears. I'm now able to go to the store, drive to friends' houses, and go to my job with less anxiety, but it still flares up. I just can't get to 100%. I've started exercising more (outside to get used to the heat), I try to do breathing exercises, I've started keeping a journal. Anything to get back to normal. I'm still not myself.
Does anyone else have experience with anxiety and candida?
