Sorry to hear about your relapse.
I'm not sure that there's a linear pattern whereas the relapses get shorter over time. And things like this certainly vary from person to person.
I do think they can get shorter and less frequent if you work on finding appropriate ways of coping with stress/anxiety on a daily basis. I hate to sound like a broken record on here, but as an example, now that I've begun practicing yoga/meditation daily, I tend to recover from anxiety scares - whether panic, or GAD - much faster than I would have in the past. It's not time it's self that has resulted in this, though, but the effort that I've put into stress reduction, over time.
Best of luck recovering from your latest bout. Try to remember that recovery can, and will, happen. And work at it! Look through resources, and find what works for you. I think the worst thing to do would be to remain complacent, and hope for it to simply go away.
