I honestly just stuck to the 50 mg because I believe you should be on it for 3 months at least before you go up.. you dont expect your iron levels to re instate in 2 weeks if they are really low.. this is our brain we are talking about. Just like I noticed if my chemicals are truly low, I started noticing a downfall over a course of months. I don't expect to be better any faster than it took me to gradually get worse. You know what I mean? Hang in there it does get manageable though. It's 100% positive sign you had a good moment that early on. I didn't until 3 weeks in last time. You WILL get better! And so Will i

thanks for the encouragement dog-I really need it today. todays attack really scared me and left me totally drained. I am shure you know that feeling. at least we are going tru this thing together and can help each other if we can.good luck fellow sufferer -lets hope it gets better from here on.

Like I said it's gonna be a lot of ups and downs for us but they will eventually bring us to a steady happy medium. If it worked once it will again ! I know exactly what you mean I go in between oh thank god for this med to oh maybe its not a good idea every day they switch... sometimes by the hour. But it will get better

this morning I decided to take 25 mg instead of 50 and to my surprise -I felt much better all day. almost normal. I am going to try this again tomorrow . could be 50 is just too strong to start me on this time as I had been med free for almost 4 years. first day in a while with no attack. feels good

I would of toughed out the symptoms but just watch it dan. You might experience some set back after tomorrow due to dosage drop. You should of started on 25 though. I do hope you dog experience bad side effects though. Today was pretty okay so was yesterday.

agree -I should have started at 25 and eased into it. I will watch what happens closely next few days. I feel soooo much better! I am pisces also by the way

today was pretty good also. no panic and much less anxiety. lets keep this trend up ! oh and I went back to 50mg. you were right the good feeling on 25mg didn't last but one day

I think this is day 20 or something and today is not really good. Head feeling cloudy Im anxious and it's been bad with sleep over the last 5 days. Glad to see positive from you dan

sadly past 2 days have been bad for me. I cant get a good nites sleep no matter what I take. even ambien cr will only put me under for 2 hrs max. I can only hope that when Zoloft finally fully kicks in -I will feel better like the first time I was on it. it worked wonders. I don't remember the start up being near this bad then.

Just updating for anyone who is interested to know. I'm starting my 3rd bottle of zoloft and I'm feeling pretty great tired from time to time but I lost about 10 pounds from walking 10k a day so i feel a lot better and I was worried about gaining on zoloft but now see its possible to lose and stay in shape.

Started April 14th.. quick update had a bit of anxiety yesterday but subsided comes in waves here and there but nothing serious. I'm feeling pretty good. But I'm a bit angry /annoyed sometimes with things. I'dk why

Hi Dog!

I am so pleased to hear of your progress! I was on vacation when you posted on the 8th...

...so I'm glad to see this update today. smile

You really hung in there and persevered...and for that you should feel proud!

I have challenging days when I get easily irratated as well...it comes with the territory...

...but I think you will continue to see more improvement along the journey...kepp up the great work!

I imagine some meds can do that.

I have those feelings myself, and until you wrote that, I forget that I'm on several meds, Lithium for the mania of Bipolar, and Mirtazapine, for the depression, plus a blood pressure med, Carvidol (sp?).

Haven't realized in a while it could be one of those meds that can cause me to have a flare-up every now and then. Of course, it's probably the Lithium that works to keep my anger under control.

You're really doing well. Keep us posted.
