Chilled sensation in back

I've been having back/neck/nerve problems lately, and have been in PT to help get things working properly again. Just today, I started getting this chilled sensation in my back, and it's really freaking me out. I'm not sure if it's some increased nerve damage, or just my own head/anxiety playing tricks on me. Health anxiety sucks!

Perhaps it is not nerve damage...but rather something neutral, like simple stimulation from the PT...

...or even positive...like increased blood flow to the affected area.

We tend to put anything unknown through a negative filter...when in reality there is a 2/3rds greater chance that it is nothing to worry about.

Use your positive mantras and other favorite coping skills (and for peace of mind, inquire about it at your next session if you'd feel better)

Are you taking any medications? The reason I ask is because some meds can cause chills.

Scaredy, I think you are on to something! It wasn't a painful feeling, and yes, why not assume the best? No medications Hibee, so I like SC's thoughts! I did call my PT that day, and I think she quietly moved me over to the "high maintenance" list. Carry on!
