i would not recommend lamo for your condition, as you describe it. unless you have mania and agitation i would not think this is the med for you. something like lexapro sounds better. for depression / anxiety. i use lamo, it is a foundation med for bi-polar disorders and depressive disorders. it is useless for anxiety. it works in the background, and takes a little longer to kick. it does need constant upping to you find the theraputic blood level. a blood test will determine this. also it works better as a combo, as it is more a background worker and adjunct. all the best.
Hi there. Well part of why I am taking it is an overall professional unsureness about
if I am bipolar. It could be my mania is the anger/irritability sort. I hear about
cycles but know nothing about
that. The main piece being irritability. (Maybe I'm just a easily irritated person? Often I can be extremely patient). The thing is....its not helping my irritability as far as I can tell. Maybe I'm slightly less irritated? And then theres the it doesn't really work till you get it up to 100 or above?
So your take on lamo is its useless for anxiety. I thought it helped decrease anxiety. Shoot. Is lexapro similar to prozac, effexer, zoloft? I've tried, done all of them, zilch....except for the one benefit I mentioned from prozac. If its different...and knowing that I might have bipolar, then would be worth checking out....does it work alone?
So in other words, referring to it as an adjunct...people usually take it with another med, like a anti-depressant, or anti-anxiety med?
Thanks for your support, its very appreciated.
