So some of you may know my Psych gave me liquid fluoxetine because my body is a big whimp when it comes to antidepressants. They literally make me feel out of body, hard to concentrate, feel slow etc... I've been on 0.5mg for like 4 weeks now and still feel the same. People say it can take up to 12 weeks to feel the full effects.
It was making my anxiety spike where Friday afternoon I was shaking while cleaning which then made me have a panic attack. Why? I have no idea but there I was dealing with this mess. Anyways, I needed a break from feeling so anxious so I stopped the antidepressant which is literally .5 max! Sometimes I just take a sip and even that impacts me.
The weekend was better, I felt more alert
but still jittery from the panic attack and I'm sure possible med withdrawals.
I started magnesium supplements yesterday and have noticed a difference. I am more calm but still feel a little strange. Not as foggy minded but like I know I've taken something. It may possibly be the anxiety.
Anyone have experience with strictly being on magnesium?
